"Krav Maga" is Hebrew and means "Contact Combat" or "Touch Fighting". It was originally developed for the military, special forces, and counter terrorist police units in Israel.

The founder of Krav Maga was Imrich (Imi) Lichtenfeld (Sde-Or). Born in 1910 and dying in 1998, Imi devoted his life to developing and furthering Krav Maga, initially within the defence and security forces in Israel, and then throughout the world. Imi's motto and motivation for spreading Krav Maga was "So that one may walk in peace."

Here you will find concise information about Krav Maga and the International Krav Maga Federation (IKMF). The information provided here has been taken directly from the IKMF - HQ, the source of Krav Maga.

Krav Maga Weekend Boot Camp - postponed

We were planning on holding a Krav Maga military-style boot camp on the weekend of May 30 - June 1. This has now been postponed to a later date due to unforseen circumstances.

Your main Krav Maga instructors for this event all have military backgrounds, so they really know how to get the most out of you!

We are also bringing in some guest instructors from specialist backgrounds within the Australian and British defence forces to assist in making it a truly unique experience!

This event is open to the general public, and you do not need to have trained in Krav Maga or any other Martial Arts to participate. Visit our 2008 Boot Camp section for full details.

To place are strictly limited, contact us now to book your place!

NOTE: We will all leave together on the Friday afternoon (transport provided by us), and return to the same central location on Sunday evening.
